Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 36 hours per week on day/night rotation schedule
• Care for medical patients with acute or chronic illnesses including sepsis, infectious processes, kidney injury/disease, diabetes, and GI issues
• Manage patients with fluid/electrolyte imbalances, alcohol withdrawal, liver disease, substance misuse, and endocarditis
• Provide care for patients with heart disease, skin/wound issues, and respiratory illnesses including COPD, flu, pneumonia, and Cystic Fibrosis
• Work with nationally recognized Cystic Fibrosis center adult patients requiring admission
• Manage chest tubes, various tubes, and complex drips such as Diltiazem, heparin, Lasix, insulin, and amiodarone
• Care for lines/tubes/drains for post-surgical patients
• Handle trachs/laryngectomies and telemetry monitoring
• Manage complex wounds and provide central line care, maintenance, and blood draws
• On-call responsibilities required
• Work across 1 East (36 beds) and 2/3 East (25 beds) units
