Ultrasound Tech - Ultrasound Tech

Job Details:

• Work 8-hour day shifts in Women's Wellness Breast Care
• Full-time 13-week assignment
• Must comply with on-call requirements
• Graduation from AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology or Medical Sonography required
• One year of radiologic/imaging experience required
• Specific experience and training in Medical Sonography required
• Vascular and obstetric experience required
• Must be registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or registry eligible
• Current BCLS certification required
• Must maintain all registries and licenses required by state and federal law
• Proficiency with major Medical Sonography equipment, manufacturer's hardware and software required
• Knowledge of general anatomy, physiology and medical terminology required
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English
• Proficient in personal computer use including word processing
• Must demonstrate excellent interpersonal, organizational, and written/verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and exercise good judgment
• Must work efficiently under deadline pressures while handling multiple projects
• Professional maturity and high degree of honesty, integrity and confidentiality required
