Opportunity:
RN - ICU
Job Details:
• 2+ years of ICU nursing experience required
• 32 guaranteed hours per week
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS or ENPC
• CCRN certification preferred
• Colorado or Compact nursing license required
• Provide nursing care for patients and their families in the intensive care unit
• Deliver expert, compassionate, individualized nursing care
• Collaborate with providers, staff, and other team members to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Assume responsibility and accountability for comprehensive patient care
• Manager interview and offer required
• Must comply with 70-mile radius rule
• All schedule requests must be submitted at time of application

Pros
3 12’s, not a lot of call. Easy surgical procedures, hospital provided housing (will have roommates). Beautiful landscape.
Cons
Cost of living. I-70 closes down a lot during winter. Staff drama. Some doctors are rude and condescending. Favoritism. Travelers will be sent into rooms so they can send full time staff home early.

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
