Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Echo Technologist - Echo Tech

Job Details:

• Work day shift schedule with 4x9 hour shifts covering weekdays and weekends
• Minimum 2 years of experience in adult echocardiography required, preferably in acute care setting
• Must hold RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) from ARDMS or RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer) from CCI certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Must demonstrate competency in comprehensive echocardiography techniques
• Experience required in 2D, M-mode, spectral Doppler, color Doppler, contrast imaging, bubble study, strain, 3D, and stress echo
• Ability to recognize abnormal cardiac structures and correlate findings into useful diagnostic studies
• Must be able to deviate from standard techniques and develop new approaches when necessary
• Proficiency in utilizing ancillary devices and selected transducers required
• Minimum education requirement of two-year echocardiography accredited program with associate degree or higher
• Program must include both technical and clinical training components
