RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts in emergency department with float to medical-surgical unit as needed
• Maintain 2:1 patient ratios in a 15-bed critical access hospital serving birth through geriatric populations
• Care for patients with COPD, diabetes, CHF, cardiac conditions, and trauma cases
• Minimum 2 years inpatient RN experience required
• Required certifications: TNCC, ACLS, and BLS
• Experience with cardiac and diabetic drips required
• Must be comfortable mixing own medications as there is no in-house pharmacy
• Use telemetry equipment for patient monitoring
• Work with Cerner EMR system
• Active Colorado nursing license required at time of submission
• Manager interview and offer process required
