Opportunity:

Ultrasound Tech - Ultrasound Tech

Job Details:

• Work day shift schedule with 40 hours per week
• Minimum 1.5 years of recent, relevant ultrasound experience required
• Must be proficient in abdomen, OB/GYN, and breast imaging
• Required certifications: ARDMS, NH Medical Imaging Licensure, BLS
• Select equipment and imaging modalities, position and prep patients to facilitate optimum diagnostic studies
• Operate ultrasonography equipment to perform examinations
• Evaluate accuracy and quality of scan results
• Review patient records for prior findings and test results to determine exam completeness
• Select and record preliminary study results using department-specific structured reporting system
• Take measurements and apply proper labeling
• Gather and communicate ultrasound findings to physicians for interpretation
• Consult with radiologists about unusual scans and need for re-scanning
• Perform transducer decontamination and maintain log entries
• Report any equipment discrepancies to supervisor
• Work across multiple locations including Manchester, Nashua, and Concord
