RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 40 hours per week with night shifts available
• Flexible shift options of 8, 12, and 16 hour shifts
• May start dates only
• Compact nursing license required
• Provide medication administration and patient care
• Use PCC (Point Click Care) electronic medical record system
• Must demonstrate proficiency in memory care techniques and protocols
• Knowledge of MDS (Minimum Data Set) assessments for long term care facilities required
• Experience working in Skilled Nursing, Sub-Acute and Dementia Units
• Strong background in case management practices required
• Provide support with specialized areas including PT, OT, SUD and pain management
• Assess resident health problems and develop and implement nursing care plans
• Monitor resident progress and respond to changes in condition
• Preferred candidates will have familiarity with IV skills, IV medications, tube feedings and light wound care
• Excellent interpersonal skills, communication and task management strategies required
• Ability to work effectively in a medical office environment
