RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - PICU

Job Details:

• Work day/night rotation schedule for 36 hours per week
• Provide care in 18-bed unit with 4 PICU beds, 3 step-down beds, and 11 pediatric medical/surgical beds
• Care for patients across multiple acuity levels: medical/surgical floor level, level 2 (Q2h interventions, bi-pap), and level 3 (critical care)
• Float to ICN when PICU has no patients
• Provide pediatric floor-level medical/surgical care during low PICU census periods
• Handle varying patient acuity with potential for few critical care patients due to census fluctuations
• Manage step-down unit patients requiring intermediate level care
