RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work day/night rotation schedule with 36 hours per week
• Float between all Med Surg units as part of the Med Surg Staffing Resource Team (SRT)
• Work ED and PACU borders as needed
• Provide Deceased Patient Coordinator (DPC) coverage when required
• Float units include: 1 East, 1 West, 2 West, 2&3 East, 3 West, 4 West, 5 West, ED, PACU
• Minimum 2 years recent equivalent experience required
• Previous float experience highly preferred
• Must be experienced with chest tubes, various tubes and drips including Diltiazem, heparin, Lasix, insulin, and amiodarone
• Handle lines/tubes/drains for post-surgical patients
• Care for patients with trachs/laryngectomies
• Provide telemetry monitoring
• Manage complex wounds
• Perform central line care, maintenance, and blood draws
• Required certifications: NH RN License or Compact License (proof of state residency required), BLS
