Opportunity:

RN - PICU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts on 3A PICU unit
• May occasionally float to NICU, CVICU, IMU, or Burn ICU as needed
• Floating required within ICU cluster (NICE, PICU, Burn PICU, IMCU) with travelers first to float
• Every other weekend schedule required with holidays as needed
• No on-call responsibilities
• Manager/scheduler driven schedule
• Nurse/patient ratios: PICU 1:1-2, IMCU 1:3-4
• Must have 3 years recent PICU experience and prior travel experience (1-2 assignments)
• Two years of clinical experience in specialty required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Must pass fit test (no facial hair unless for religious beliefs)
• Must test negative for nicotine
• Recent EPIC EMR experience required
• Active Arkansas or Compact nursing license required
• Expect 2-3 days of orientation and specialty testing
• ACH dress code must be followed
• Work with EPIC EMR and Pyxis medication system with bar code scanning
• Care for patients with respiratory distress, CRRT, ECMO, post arrest, trauma, neuro conditions, surgical post-ops, burns, and DKA
• Work alongside residents, fellows, attending MDs, and advanced practice providers
• CNA/PCT assistance available with 1-2 PCTs per shift
