RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Minimum of 2 years experience required with prior travel experience preferred
• Must have Tennessee license or compact state license on file at time of submission
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH
• Must have experience with intra-aortic balloon pump
• Patient ratios of 1:2 in 21-bed unit
• Navy scrubs required
• Float to Stepdown/ER as needed
• EMR system: Cerner
• Weekend work required
• Patient population includes ages 18+ with conditions such as ARDS/Pneumonia, Withdrawal, and Cardiogenic Shock
• Unit creates the schedule
• Interview process includes IVS interview followed by manager offer

The facility utilizes advanced technology including intra-aortic balloon pumps and maintains low patient-to-nurse ratios to ensure high-quality care. The organization uses Cerner electronic medical records system and provides comprehensive critical care services with the flexibility to cross-train staff in multiple departments as needed.
