Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available
Opportunity:
Surgical Tech - CVOR Tech
Job Details:
• Flexible shift options available with 36-hour or 40-hour weekly schedules
• 36-hour shifts: 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM
• 40-hour shifts: 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM or 11:00 AM to 9:30 PM
• 4-5 shift obligations (shift/on-call) per 13-week contract different from scheduled daily shifts
• Off-shift and on-call requirements may include weekday nights and weekend day/night coverage
• Provide surgical technology support for both inpatient and outpatient procedures
• Work with patients of all ages including neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Support various surgical specialties including ENT, general surgery, orthopedics, plastic surgery, urology, gynecology, ophthalmology, oral surgery, neurosurgery, robotics, vascular, cardiac, and thoracic surgery
• BLS certification required
• NH Med Tech license must be applied for upon acceptance
• National certification required

The operating rooms are designed to accommodate both complex inpatient procedures and outpatient surgeries, with state-of-the-art equipment including robotic surgical systems to support diverse surgical specialties and advanced medical procedures.

Pros
Dartmouth OSC specially. Traveler-friendly but almost zero orientation. The educator is part time and doesn’t care about her job at all. You’ll get oriented by other travelers. Very easy work. A lot of days you are on breaks and lunches not doing much.
Cons
Housing is a nightmare to find something under 3k/mo. They cut me with 2 weeks left and cut my girlfriend too from a totally separate department even though they were extremely short-staffed. Dartmouth doesn’t care about their employees whatsoever. Main OR is very toxic and don’t recommend.

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
