RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 48 hours per week in day/night rotation schedule
• On-call responsibilities required
• Provide care in 10-bed progressive care unit
• Must have experience with arterial lines, ventriculostomies, subdural drains, and lumbar drains
• Required experience includes hemodynamic monitoring and invasive BP monitoring through arterial lines
• Must be proficient with Bi-PAP/C-PAP and trach C-PAP patients on ventilator
• Experience needed with low dose pressors, vasoactive medications, and inotropes
• Must be comfortable administering Mannitol and 3% solutions
• Care for patients with trachs and complex wounds
• Manage various lines, tubes, and drains for post-surgical patients
• Treat patients with medical conditions including neuromuscular disorders and meningitis
• Provide care for primary stroke center patients, traumatic brain injury, and spinal cord injury cases
• Support surgical patients including tumor resections, spinal surgery, and head and neck cancer procedures
• Assist with Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus trials with lumbar drains
