Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Interventional Radiologist - Interventional Radiology

Job Details:

• Work 10-hour shifts with rotating start times at 7:00 AM, 7:30 AM, or 8:00 AM
• 40 hours per week guaranteed
• Rotating shifts including weekends, holidays, and on-call responsibilities
• Contract duration options of 16, 20, or 26 weeks available
• Perform interventional and special radiographic procedures
• Must have considerable knowledge of physiology and anatomy
• Extensive knowledge of diagnostic equipment, procedures, and techniques required
• Knowledge of radiation safety, infection control, and patient safety techniques and policies
• Radiography Registry [R.T. (R)] by American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) required
• Minimum 2 years experience performing interventional and special radiographic procedures
• Hybrid interventional radiology experience preferred
• Cardiac interventional or vascular interventional registry by ARRT or registry eligible and must obtain within 6 months
• Connecticut State license to practice radiography required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required and must maintain during employment
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required and must maintain during employment
• Interview with manager required for offer
• Subject to mandatory overtime as part of unit rotation pool for coverage needs
