Opportunity:
RN - ICU
Job Details:
• Provide comprehensive nursing care in the Intensive Care Unit with a varied work schedule
• Stroke experience required with NIHSS certification mandatory
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care according to professional standards
• Current RN license required in state of practice or compact licensure
• BLS certification required
• Minimum one year acute care hospital experience required
• Experience must include working in acute care setting within past 12 months as a Registered Nurse in specialty area
• Bachelor's degree and professional certification preferred
• Assess patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, and cultural needs
• Formulate and implement individualized plans of care including discharge planning
• Delegate and supervise healthcare team activities
• Evaluate patient and family response to care and teaching
• Document assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation in patient records
• Participate in unit shared leadership and education of personnel
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and maintain physical agility for patient care
• Must demonstrate clinical performance competencies appropriate to ICU practice

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
