RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work day/night rotation schedule with 36 hours per week guaranteed
• On-call responsibilities required
• Work in 21-bed Medical-Surgical Neurology unit
• Care for patients with neuromuscular disorders, meningitis, traumatic brain injury, and spinal cord injuries
• Manage post-surgical patients including tumor resections (brain and spine), spinal surgery, and head and neck cancer cases
• Work in Level IV Epilepsy center with implanted electrodes and scalp leads
• Required experience with chest tubes, various tubes and drains
• Must be experienced with drips including Diltiazem, heparin, Lasix, insulin, and amiodarone
• Manage lines, tubes, and drains for post-surgical patients
• Care for patients with trachs and laryngectomies
• Telemetry monitoring experience required
• Complex wound care experience necessary
• Central line care, maintenance, and blood draws required
• Provide care for stroke center patients
