Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for ICU patients with stroke experience required
• NIHSS certification required
• Varied work schedule with flexible scheduling
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care in accordance with organizational policies
• Utilize specialized knowledge and nursing skills to provide age-appropriate care
• Complete patient assessments and reassessments according to patient needs
• Formulate individualized plans of care including discharge planning
• Coordinate and delegate care activities to healthcare team members
• Provide direct patient care based on physician orders and nursing care plans
• Evaluate patient and family response to care and teaching
• Document all nursing activities legibly and in compliance with policies
• Participate in unit shared leadership and quality improvement initiatives
• Mentor and precept other nursing staff when appropriate
• Current valid RN license required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum one year acute care hospital experience required
• Experience in acute care setting within past 12 months required
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification preferred
