RN - CVICU

Job Details:

• Opening with a varied work schedule
• Facility will consider ICU nurses for this position
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care of patients
• Provide specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills for physical and developmental age-appropriate care
• Complete patient assessments including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and discharge planning needs
• Formulate and implement individualized plans of care utilizing assessment data and multidisciplinary team input
• Delegate appropriately and provide nursing supervision to other licensed nurses and personnel
• Document all aspects of patient care in accordance with policy requirements
• Participate in unit or facility shared leadership activities
• Mentor and precept other staff members when appropriate
• Current valid RN license required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum one year acute care hospital experience required
• Experience in acute care setting within past 12 months in specialty area required
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification preferred
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and respond quickly to patient care needs
• Requires adequate hearing, visual acuity, and fine motor skills
