Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Provide nursing care in intensive care unit setting
• Varied work schedule available
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care according to organizational policies
• Must possess current, valid RN license in state of practice
• BLS certification required
• Banner Registry and Travel positions require minimum one year acute care hospital experience
• Experience must include working in acute care setting within past 12 months as RN in specialty area
• Assess patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and discharge planning needs
• Formulate and implement individualized care plans utilizing assessment data and patient/family input
• Delegate appropriately and provide nursing supervision to other healthcare team members
• Document assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation in patient record
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members for continuity of care
• Physical demands include ability to stand, walk, bend, reach frequently and lift up to 75 pounds
• Must maintain clinical performance competencies appropriate to ICU specialty area
• Professional certification preferred
• Bachelor's degree preferred
