Opportunity:

RN - PCU

Job Details:

• Work as part of the Resource Float Pool team floating between two campuses
• Float to various Adult Health units including Observation (2 units), Med Surg (4 units), PCU and IMC (total 11 units)
• May occasionally float to ED or PACU to take Adult Health patients with inpatient orders
• Varied work schedule with flexible assignments
• Level I Trauma and large hospital experience required
• Minimum one year experience in acute care hospital setting required
• Must have worked in acute care setting within the past 12 months as a Registered Nurse
• Current, valid RN license in state of practice required
• BLS certification required
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care of patients
• Provide direct patient care, coordination, delegation and supervision
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members
• Document assessment findings and patient responses in medical records
• Participate in patient and family education
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and respond quickly to patient care needs
• Bachelor's degree and professional certification preferred
