Opportunity:

RN - CVICU

Job Details:

• Work in Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) with potential to float to BBMC ICU
• Varied work schedule with weekend and holiday rotation requirements
• On-call responsibilities required
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care for critically ill cardiovascular patients
• Monitor and interpret diagnostic and laboratory data, reporting abnormal results to physicians
• Formulate and implement individualized patient care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary team
• Provide direct patient care, coordinate care activities, and supervise healthcare team members
• Document all nursing assessments, interventions, and patient responses in medical records
• Participate in patient and family education regarding care and treatment plans
• Maintain clinical competencies and participate in ongoing professional development
• Current RN license required for state of practice
• BLS certification required
• Minimum one year acute care hospital experience required
• Experience in specialty area within past 12 months required
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification preferred
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and work in direct patient care environment
