Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work varied schedule in medical-surgical unit handling SNF and LTAC transfers and end of life care patients
• May float to other medical-surgical units and take unit appropriate assignments
• Must have 2 years of medical-surgical experience and prior travel experience
• Must be EKG compliant and able to pass an ECG exam
• All units utilize remote telemetry monitoring
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care in accordance with organizational policies
• Provide direct patient care, coordination, delegation and supervision of healthcare team activities
• Complete patient assessments including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and discharge planning needs
• Formulate and implement individualized plans of care in collaboration with multidisciplinary team
• Document all nursing interventions and patient responses in accordance with policy requirements
• Supervise and provide direction to licensed and non-licensed personnel
• Current valid RN license required
• BLS certification required
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification preferred
• Must maintain clinical performance competencies through annual validations
