Opportunity:

RN - PCU

Job Details:

• Varied work schedule with opening assignment availability
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care for progressive care unit patients
• Complete comprehensive patient assessments including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and discharge planning needs
• Formulate individualized plans of care utilizing assessment data and patient/family input
• Implement care plans through direct patient care, coordination, delegation and supervision
• Evaluate patient and family response to care and teaching, revising plans as needed
• Document all nursing activities including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare team members
• Provide supervision and direction to licensed and non-licensed personnel
• Participate in patient education and role development activities
• Must possess current valid RN license in state of practice or compact licensure
• BLS certification required
• Minimum one year acute care hospital experience required
• Experience in acute care setting within past 12 months as registered nurse required
• Must maintain clinical performance competencies appropriate to assigned area
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and use proper body mechanics for patient transfers
• Must demonstrate adequate hearing, visual acuity, and fine motor skills
