Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Based at North Colorado Medical Center with expected floating to support Loveland Campus or Banner Fort Collins if needed
• Must be proficient in caring for surgical, orthopedic, and neurological medical/surgical patients
• NIHSS certification required and must be able to read telemetry strips
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation per unit schedule
• Varied work schedule with flexible hours
• Current valid RN license in state of practice required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum one year experience in acute care hospital setting required
• Experience must include working in acute care setting within past 12 months as RN in specialty area
• Must maintain clinical performance competencies appropriate to work area
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care in accordance with organizational policies
• Complete patient assessments including physical, psychological, social, and developmental needs
• Formulate and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary team
• Delegate appropriately and provide supervision to licensed and unlicensed personnel
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely in patient records
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice
