Opportunity:

RN - OR Inpatient

Job Details:

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies
• Work consistent weekly schedule with minimal call requirements
• Call schedule includes approximately 1 weeknight per week and weekend every 6 weeks
• Assess patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and discharge planning needs
• Formulate and implement plans of care including discharge planning utilizing assessment data
• Provide direct patient care, coordination, delegation and supervision of healthcare team activities
• Document assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation in patient records
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members and physicians
• Evaluate patient and family response to care and teaching
• Participate in unit shared leadership and staff education activities
• Current valid RN license required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum one year acute care hospital experience required
• Experience in acute care setting within past 12 months as Registered Nurse required
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification preferred
• Must maintain clinical performance competencies appropriate to work area
