Opportunity:

RN - OR Inpatient

Job Details:

• Work varied schedule including weekends, holidays, call, and float per department guidelines
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies
• Provide direct patient care utilizing specialized knowledge and nursing skills appropriate to physical and developmental age of patients
• Complete patient assessments including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and discharge planning needs
• Formulate and implement individualized plans of care based on assessment data and patient-specific needs
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care
• Delegate appropriately and provide nursing supervision to other licensed nurses and personnel
• Document assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation in patient records in timely manner
• Current valid RN license in state of practice or compact RN licensure required
• BLS certification required
• Must possess physical agility and adequate reaction time for unexpected patient care needs
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and use proper body mechanics for patient transfers
• Minimum one year acute care hospital experience required within past 12 months
• Bachelor's degree and professional certification preferred
