Opportunity:

RN - PCU

Job Details:

• Work varied schedule in Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
• Must float between two campus locations
• Care for PCU, general telemetry monitored, and medical patients
• Work with universal bed model system
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care in accordance with organizational policies
• Complete patient assessments including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and discharge planning needs
• Formulate and implement comprehensive care plans utilizing assessment data and patient/family input
• Provide direct patient care, coordination, delegation and supervision of healthcare team activities
• Document assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation in patient records
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care
• Current valid RN license in state of practice required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum one year acute care hospital experience required
• Experience in acute care setting within past 12 months as Registered Nurse in specialty area required
• Must maintain clinical performance competencies appropriate to work area
• Physical demands include standing, walking, bending, squatting, reaching frequently
• May be required to lift up to 75 pounds
• Bachelor's degree and professional certification preferred
