Opportunity:
RN - CVICU
Job Details:
• Must have CVICU experience with Impella and balloon pumps
• Direct patient open heart care experience required
• Work weekends and holidays as required
• Float per department guidelines
• Varied work schedule
• Current valid RN license in state of practice required
• BLS certification required
• Must maintain clinical performance competencies appropriate to CVICU
• Minimum one year acute care hospital experience required
• Experience must include working in acute care setting within past 12 months
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care of patients
• Provide specialized cardiovascular intensive care utilizing advanced nursing skills
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Supervise and delegate care to licensed and non-licensed personnel
• Document assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation accurately and timely
• Able to lift up to 75 pounds and respond quickly to patient care needs
• Must use standard precautions due to exposure to blood and bodily fluids

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
