Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Based at NCMC with expected floating to NCMC-Loveland campus or BFC ICU, PCU, and M/S units
• Must be proficient in caring for Cardiac ICU patients, PCU patients, and M/S patients
• Must be able to read and monitor telemetry
• Must be willing to take M/S level of care patients in mixed acuity unit
• Every other weekend and holidays per unit rotation required
• If placed on call, must be able to report within 1 hour
• Varied work schedule
• Assess patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and discharge planning needs
• Formulate and implement individualized plans of care including discharge planning
• Provide direct patient care, coordination, delegation and supervision of healthcare team activities
• Document assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation in patient records
• Evaluate patient and family response to care and revise plans as needed
• Must possess current valid RN license in state of practice
• BLS certification required
• Minimum one year experience in acute care hospital setting required
• Experience must include working in acute care setting within past 12 months as RN in specialty area
• Must maintain clinical performance competencies appropriate to work area
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification preferred
