Opportunity:

RN - ED

Job Details:

• Varied work schedule in the Emergency Department
• Must float between Banner Del Webb Medical Center and Banner Boswell Medical Center campuses
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care of patients
• Conduct patient assessments including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and discharge planning needs
• Formulate and implement comprehensive plans of care utilizing assessment data and patient/family input
• Provide direct patient care, coordination, delegation and supervision of healthcare team activities
• Evaluate patient and family response to care and teaching, revising plans as needed
• Document all nursing activities in patient records in accordance with policy requirements
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care
• Participate in education, role development, and orientation of facility personnel
• Current valid RN license in state of practice required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum one year experience in acute care hospital setting required
• Experience must include working in acute care setting within past 12 months as RN in specialty area
• Bachelor's degree and professional certification preferred
• Must maintain clinical performance competencies appropriate to work area
