Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work varied schedule with flexible hours
• Minimum one year experience in acute care hospital setting required
• Experience must include working in acute care setting within the past 12 months as a Registered Nurse in specialty area
• Current valid RN license in state of practice required
• BLS certification required
• Additional certifications or continuing education may be required based on area of practice
• Assess patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and discharge planning needs
• Formulate and implement comprehensive plans of care utilizing assessment data and patient/family input
• Provide direct patient care, coordination, delegation and supervision of healthcare team activities
• Evaluate patient and family response to care and teaching, revising care plans as needed
• Document assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation in patient records
• Participate in unit shared leadership and education of facility personnel
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and possess physical agility for patient care needs
• Requires adequate hearing, visual acuity, fine motor skills, and eye-hand coordination
• Must use standard precautions due to exposure to blood and bodily fluids
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification preferred
