Opportunity:

RN - PCU

Job Details:

• Must float between BDWMC & BBWMC Campuses
• Care for PCU, general telemetry monitored and medical patients
• Work with universal bed model
• Varied work schedule assignment
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care of patients
• Assess patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and discharge planning needs
• Review patient history and diagnostics, report abnormal results to physicians
• Formulate and implement individualized plans of care including discharge planning
• Provide direct patient care, coordinate and delegate activities of healthcare team
• Evaluate patient and family response to care and teaching
• Document all nursing activities in patient records accurately and timely
• Supervise licensed and non-licensed personnel in patient care activities
• Must possess current valid RN license in state of practice or compact RN licensure
• BLS certification required
• Minimum one year experience in acute care hospital setting required
• Experience must include working in acute care setting within past 12 months as RN in specialty area
• Must maintain clinical performance competencies appropriate to work area
• Bachelor's degree and professional certification preferred
