Opportunity:

RN - PCU

Job Details:

• Work varied schedule with weekend and holiday requirements
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care of patients
• Conduct physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental and cultural assessments
• Formulate comprehensive care plans including discharge planning utilizing patient and family input
• Implement care plans through direct patient care, coordination, delegation and supervision
• Evaluate patient and family response to care and teaching, revising plans as needed
• Document assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation in patient records
• Provide evidence-based care and may participate in research activities
• Participate in education, role development, and orientation of personnel
• Must possess current, valid RN license in state of practice
• BLS certification required
• Minimum one year experience in acute care hospital setting required
• Experience must include working in acute care setting within past 12 months as RN in specialty area
• Must maintain clinical performance competencies through annual validations
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification preferred
