Opportunity:

RN - ED

Job Details:

• Varied work schedule assignment in Emergency Department
• Must have TNCC and NIH stroke certifications
• Charge experience required
• Current valid RN license in state of practice required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum one year experience in acute care hospital setting required
• Must have worked in acute care setting within the past 12 months as RN in specialty area
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care of patients
• Provide direct patient care, coordination, delegation and supervision of healthcare team activities
• Complete patient assessments and reassessments according to patient needs
• Formulate and implement individualized plans of care including discharge planning
• Evaluate patient and family response to care and revise plans as needed
• Document all nursing interventions and patient responses accurately and timely
• Provide supervision and direction to licensed and non-licensed personnel
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and use proper body mechanics
• Requires adequate hearing, visual acuity, and fine motor skills
• Must maintain clinical performance competencies through annual validations
