Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work in an intensive care unit with a varied work schedule
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care for ICU patients
• Complete patient assessments including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and discharge planning needs
• Review patient history and diagnostics, reporting abnormal results to physicians and caregivers
• Formulate and implement individualized plans of care in collaboration with multidisciplinary team
• Provide direct patient care, coordination, delegation and supervision of healthcare team activities
• Document all care activities legibly and timely in accordance with policy
• Participate in education, orientation, and mentoring of facility personnel
• Supervise licensed and non-licensed personnel in quality care delivery
• Must possess current valid RN license in state of practice or compact licensure
• BLS certification required
• Minimum one year acute care hospital experience required
• Must have worked in acute care setting within past 12 months as Registered Nurse
• Bachelor's degree and professional certification preferred
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and respond quickly to patient care needs
• Must use standard precautions due to exposure to blood and bodily fluids
