Opportunity:
RN - PCU
Job Details:
• Varied work schedule with flexible scheduling arrangements
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care for progressive care unit patients
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, and developmental needs
• Formulate individualized care plans utilizing assessment data and patient/family input
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare team members to provide coordinated patient care
• Implement care plans through direct patient care, delegation, and supervision of healthcare team activities
• Evaluate patient and family response to care and teaching, revising care plans as needed
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in patient records according to policy standards
• Participate in research activities, shared leadership, and education of facility personnel
• Provide supervision and direction to licensed and non-licensed personnel
• Current valid RN license in state of practice or compact RN licensure required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum one year acute care hospital experience required
• Experience in acute care setting within past 12 months as Registered Nurse in specialty area required
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification preferred
• Must maintain clinical performance competencies appropriate to work area
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and respond quickly to patient care needs
• Must use standard precautions due to exposure to blood and bodily fluids

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
