Opportunity:
RN - ICU
Job Details:
• Varied work schedule with weekend and holiday requirements
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care of ICU patients
• Utilize specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills for critical care patients
• Current valid RN license required in state of practice or compact RN licensure
• BLS certification required
• Minimum one year experience in acute care hospital setting required
• Experience must include working in acute care setting within past 12 months as RN in specialty area
• Must maintain clinical performance competencies appropriate to ICU area
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification preferred
• Assess patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and discharge planning needs
• Formulate comprehensive plans of care including discharge planning
• Implement care through direct patient care, coordination, delegation and supervision
• Evaluate patient and family response to care and teaching
• Document assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation in patient records
• Provide supervision and direction to licensed and non-licensed personnel
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and use proper body mechanics
• Requires adequate hearing, visual acuity, fine motor skills, and eye-hand coordination

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
