Opportunity:

RN - Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, 4 days per week
• On-call required 1-2 nights per week (approximately 9 shifts in a six-week period)
• Weekend rotation for on-call duties
• Consistent weekly work schedule
• Required certifications: Colorado CAPS, BLS, and ACLS
• Current valid RN license in state of practice required
• Minimum one year acute care hospital experience required
• Experience in acute care setting within past 12 months as RN in specialty area
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care in accordance with organizational policies
• Provide direct patient care, coordination, delegation and supervision of healthcare team activities
• Complete patient assessments including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, and developmental needs
• Formulate and implement individualized care plans utilizing assessment data and patient/family input
• Document assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation in patient records
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care
• Evaluate patient progress towards goals and expected outcomes
• Must maintain clinical performance competencies appropriate to the area of practice
• Able to lift up to 75 pounds and respond quickly to unexpected patient care needs
• Must use standard precautions due to exposure to blood and bodily fluids
