Opportunity:

RN - PCU

Job Details:

• Varied work schedule with every other weekend and holidays per unit rotation
• Based at NCMC with expected float to M/S or other PCU units at NCMC, Loveland campus or BFC if needed
• Must be proficient in caring for Cardiac and M/S PCU patients
• Required to read and monitor telemetry
• Required certifications: Colorado CAPS, BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Current valid RN license in Colorado required
• Minimum one year acute care hospital experience required
• Experience must include working in acute care setting within past 12 months as RN in specialty area
• Assess patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and discharge planning needs
• Formulate and implement individualized plans of care utilizing assessment data
• Provide direct patient care, coordination, delegation and supervision of healthcare team activities
• Evaluate patient and family response to care and teaching
• Document assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation in patient records
• Must maintain clinical performance competencies appropriate to work area
• Participate in unit shared leadership and education of facility personnel
