Opportunity:

RN - PCU

Job Details:

• Work varied schedule including every other weekend and holidays per unit rotation
• Float assignment based at NCMC with expected float to M/S or other PCU units at NCMC, Loveland campus, or BFC as needed
• Must be proficient in caring for Cardiac and M/S PCU patients
• Required to read and monitor telemetry
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care in accordance with organizational policies
• Complete patient assessments including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, and cultural needs
• Formulate and implement care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary team
• Delegate and supervise activities of healthcare team members
• Provide direct patient care based on physician orders and nursing care plans
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient care activities
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and professional development activities
• Required certifications: Colorado CAPS, BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Current valid RN license in Colorado required
• Minimum one year acute care hospital experience in specialty area within past 12 months
• Physical demands include ability to lift up to 75 pounds and respond quickly to patient needs
