Description
Opportunity:
RN - NICU
Job Details:
• Varied work schedule with attempts to schedule at least every other weekend dependent upon unit rotation/need and holidays
• Regional contract position based at NCMC with potential to float to BFCMC if needed
• Must be proficient in caring for neonates from 27 weeks and older
• Required certifications: Colorado CAPS, BLS, and NRP
• Current valid RN license in state of practice required
• Minimum one year experience in acute care hospital setting required
• Experience must include working in an acute care setting within the past 12 months as a Registered Nurse in the specialty area
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care of NICU patients
• Provide direct patient care, coordination, delegation and supervision of healthcare team activities
• Complete patient assessments including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and discharge planning needs
• Review diagnostics and laboratory data and report abnormal results to physicians
• Formulate and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary team
• Document all nursing interventions and patient responses in accordance with policies and procedures
• Maintain clinical performance competencies appropriate to NICU specialty area
• Physical demands include standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 75 pounds, and responding quickly to patient care needs

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
