RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Varied work schedule with flexible scheduling opportunities
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care for medical-surgical patients
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and discharge planning needs
• Formulate individualized plans of care in collaboration with multidisciplinary team members
• Provide direct patient care, coordination, delegation and supervision of healthcare team activities
• Document all aspects of patient care in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements
• Delegate appropriately and provide nursing supervision to other licensed nurses and personnel
• Evaluate patient progress and revise care plans as needed based on patient response
• Physical demands include standing, walking, bending, squatting, reaching frequently with ability to lift up to 75 pounds
• Must possess current valid RN license in state of practice or compact licensure
• BLS certification required
• Minimum one year acute care hospital experience required within past 12 months
• Bachelor's degree and professional certification preferred
• Must maintain clinical performance competencies through annual validations
