RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work varied schedule in ICU setting
• Must float between BDWMC & BBWMC Campuses
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care of patients
• Complete patient assessments including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and discharge planning needs
• Formulate comprehensive plans of care utilizing assessment data and patient/family input
• Implement care through direct patient care, coordination, delegation and supervision
• Evaluate patient and family response to care and teaching, revising plans as needed
• Document all aspects of patient care in accordance with policy requirements
• Provide care based on physician orders and nursing plans in compliance with standards
• Delegate appropriately and provide supervision to licensed nurses and other personnel
• Participate in education, orientation, and mentoring of facility personnel and students
• Interact with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, physicians, patients, and families
• Current valid RN license in state of practice or compact licensure required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum one year experience in acute care hospital setting required
• Experience must include working in acute care setting within past 12 months as RN in specialty area
• Bachelor's degree and professional certification preferred
• Must maintain clinical performance competencies appropriate to work area
