RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - OR Inpatient

Job Details:

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies
• Work with a consistent weekly work schedule
• On call 10-13 days per month with rotating weekends and holidays
• Complete patient assessments including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, and cultural needs
• Formulate and implement individualized plans of care including discharge planning
• Provide direct patient care, coordination, delegation and supervision of healthcare team activities
• Evaluate patient and family response to care and teaching, revising care plans as needed
• Document all nursing activities in patient records in a timely and accurate manner
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members and participate in patient education
• Provide supervision and direction to licensed and non-licensed personnel
• Must possess current valid RN license in Wyoming
• Required certifications: Wyoming DFS clearance, BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Must maintain clinical performance competencies appropriate to specialty area
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and use proper body mechanics for patient care
• Must use standard precautions due to exposure to blood and bodily fluids
