RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work varied schedule in Emergency Department
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care of patients
• Complete patient assessments including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and discharge planning needs
• Formulate and implement individualized plans of care based on patient-specific needs and assessment data
• Provide direct patient care, coordination, delegation and supervision of healthcare team activities
• Document all nursing interventions, patient responses, and care provided in patient records
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care
• Evaluate patient progress towards goals and revise care plans as needed
• Mentor and precept other nursing staff and healthcare personnel
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC
• Wyoming DFS clearance required
• Current valid RN license in Wyoming or compact licensure required
• Minimum one year acute care hospital experience in emergency department setting within past 12 months
• Must maintain clinical performance competencies and complete annual validations
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and respond quickly to unexpected patient care needs
