Description
RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• Work varied schedule as needed by the unit
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care for post-anesthesia care unit patients
• Monitor patients recovering from surgical procedures and anesthesia
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Current valid RN license required (state license, temporary/interim license, or compact licensure)
• Minimum one year acute care hospital experience required
• Must have worked in acute care setting within past 12 months as RN in specialty area
• Assess patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental and cultural needs
• Review diagnostics and laboratory data, report abnormal results to physicians
• Formulate and implement individualized plans of care including discharge planning
• Delegate and supervise activities of healthcare team members
• Document all nursing assessments, interventions and patient responses in medical records
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and use proper body mechanics
• Must maintain clinical performance competencies through annual validations
• Professional certification preferred
• Bachelor's degree preferred

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
