RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work varied schedule with flexibility between day and night shifts
• Must float between Boswell and Del Webb campuses as needed with Boswell as primary campus
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care for ICU patients
• Complete comprehensive patient assessments including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and discharge planning needs
• Formulate and implement individualized plans of care in collaboration with multidisciplinary team
• Provide direct patient care, coordination, delegation and supervision of healthcare team activities
• Document all nursing interventions and patient responses accurately and timely
• Participate in unit shared leadership and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
• Supervise licensed and non-licensed personnel in patient care activities
• Current valid RN license in state of practice required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum one year acute care hospital experience required with experience in specialty area within past 12 months
• Must maintain clinical performance competencies appropriate to ICU setting
• Bachelor's degree and professional certification preferred
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and respond quickly to unexpected patient care needs
• Must use standard precautions due to exposure to blood and bodily fluids
