RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work a varied schedule providing medical-surgical nursing care
• Current valid RN license in Wyoming required
• BLS certification required
• WY DFS (Department of Family Services) clearance required
• Minimum one year experience in acute care hospital setting required
• Experience must include working in acute care setting within past 12 months as RN in specialty area
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care according to organizational policies
• Perform patient assessments including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, and developmental needs
• Formulate and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary team
• Delegate and supervise activities of healthcare team members
• Document all aspects of patient care in timely and accurate manner
• Provide direct patient care, coordinate care delivery, and evaluate patient outcomes
• Communicate effectively with physicians, patients, families and healthcare team
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and use proper body mechanics
• Requires adequate hearing, visual acuity, fine motor skills and eye-hand coordination
• Must maintain clinical performance competencies through annual validations
