RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work a varied schedule on the Medical Surgical unit
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care of patients
• Complete patient assessments including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and discharge planning needs
• Formulate and implement comprehensive plans of care in collaboration with multidisciplinary team
• Provide direct patient care, coordination, delegation and supervision of healthcare team activities
• Document assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation in patient records
• Delegate appropriately and provide nursing supervision to other licensed nurses and personnel
• Evaluate patient and family response to care and teaching, revising plans as needed
• Participate in unit shared leadership and contribute to education and orientation of personnel
• Must possess current valid RN license in Wyoming
• BLS certification required
• Wyoming DFS clearance required
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification preferred
• Must maintain clinical performance competencies appropriate to medical surgical nursing
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and use proper body mechanics for patient transfers
• Must use standard precautions due to exposure to blood and bodily fluids
