Opportunity:

Cardiovascular Technologist - CV Tech

Job Details:

• Provide procedural support to physicians including hemodynamic and electrophysiologic monitoring
• Maintain sterile technique and provide radiologic support during procedures
• Operate specialized equipment according to protocols (IVUS, pressure wire, Possess, IABP, Bloom stimulator, EPT and Medtronic RF sources)
• Perform departmental functions within Epic system
• Assist physicians with specialized equipment during cardiovascular procedures
• Provide patient care appropriate to the patient population in sterile environment
• Transport patients to and from the department as needed
• Perform environmental scrub downs to maintain aseptic environment
• Stock supplies and perform departmental maintenance duties
• Set up procedure rooms each morning including transducers
• Attend mandatory in-services and vendor training for new equipment
• Complete variance reports accurately and meet department educational standards
• Required education: Completion of accredited Radiologic Technology Program OR Cardiovascular Credentialing International RCIS credentials
• Required certifications: ARRT-R and/or RCIS registration, CPR and ACLS certification within one year
• Must have Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and BLS certification through AHA
• Preferred skills include Interventional Cardiology, Interventional Radiology, and NIHSS
• Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills required
• Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively with attention to detail
